Effective way to teach children with autism syndrome to read

What I am going to write below is already worked on my child that has autism syndrome.
I did not find this way intentionally. This happens naturally.
Since the beginning, my son is very interested in music and sounds. He enjoyed the song from audio visual. It was possible that my treatment influence him since he was still a baby. Time baby, I put a small radio near him. And she enjoyed every song or music from the radio. If feel sleepy, he did not want to sleep in before turn on songs from tape recorder. When he can hold remote control and can operate it by himself, it’s many more his activity with the remote control to find songs. In conclusion he is very interested in the songs and sounds are rhythmic.
Initially it made me irritated because he turn-on then turn-off the audio repeatedly. However, because he enjoyed, I leave it.
The most effect on his ability to read is from CD audio. He loves most songs that have text. When playing audio, each stanza of the song texts, he stops then rewind repeatedly. Even, not only of each stanza, but each word of the lyric he repeats many times.
I provided him toys that have letters, but it was only a little taken his attention and it’s just decorated in his room.
At the age of three and a half years my son has already got ability to read. I was initially less confident with his ability to read. But after I test with a turn the letter again and again, found my child can already read.
Conclusion is through the strong interest of the child. And provide tools or toys related to his interest, complete it with the text.
In the case of my child, he was interested in music and songs, has brought him fortune to be able to read at age three and a half years.
